He has run around the country tracks and that is why we said we would come down here. He has all that experience. Tramore especially was a good run. He won his bumper in Sligo and coming up here, we thought he should handle the place, and it is hard to handle it. He's not the biggest, but he's very athletic and was well bought by James Hughes. Tom was good on him too. He's agile, he's small, and he can nip around these places. We will stick to the country tracks and try and pick up as many as we can.

We have her leased from Jamie Codd and she is probably the smallest in the yard, but we took a chance with her as she is by Flemensfirth and they're not making any more of them. She is tough and hardy, and I think the lighter weight is a big help to her, compared to her bumper runs. She travelled strongly, jumped well and you could even go up further in trip. . She has plenty of ability, we could end up in Listowel and hopefully she will win again. Aubrey McMahon does a great job running Temple Bloodstock and they're having a lot of success. He buys some of their horses, leases others and I couldn't recommend Aubrey highly enough, as he works hard and is very likeable.

I kind of fancied him today. I thought he ran a bit better than where he finished the last day. He just kind of caught himself too far back but I loved the way he finished out his race. He's been very good since. We were fairly hopeful today that he'd be in the first three anyway. I was hoping he'd run real well. That's the best he has ever jumped and travelled. We did (think she would go well today) - she's not the biggest, but she is quite well-bred as a half-sister to Senecia. We bought her in Goresbridge (Horse Sales) and she's just a lovely little filly. She tries hard. The track was probably not ideal for her, I'd say she wants a bigger track even though she is a smaller horse - all she really is is a galloper. Alex just kind of kept it simple, bounced her out, and we knew she would stay. Delighted! The owners (The 119 Partnership) are very good supporters of mine , so delighted for them. We have been lucky enough buying out of Goresbridge and it is great to get another one on the board. We'll definitely keep her going. She is a novice now until the end of April, so she is going to have to keep going for that. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up in Sedgefield or somewhere. Baby steps and then see where she takes us.
