Formscan - LOOPING D'ARC is a work in progress and is an attractive proposition on his handicap debut. Although he didn't appear to handle Plumpton too well on his latest start, the five-year-old rallied to finish a creditable second. That form has been boosted by the winner going in again since and it looks a reliable gauge. Catterick winner Comanche Magic is feared the most but an 8lb rise demands more. Sleeping Late completes the shortlist.
