The Raceday Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider, in relation to his riding close to the line where it appeared he may have stopped riding and lost sixth place. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that it was a misjudgement on his behalf. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L.F. Roche was in breach of Rule 212 A (iv) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for four racedays and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee
B.M. Coen, rider of Secret World, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the starting stalls and threw his head up, as he was very slowly away he pulled up as a result. Having viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls where it appeared, Yes Oui Si stumbled and unseated S. Foley. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
S. Foley, rider of Yes Oui Si, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards Secretary that his mount stumbled independently of any other horse.
