She ran on soft ground here the last day and couldn’t handle it at all,. She had a couple of good runs last year and wasn’t mad about the all-weather. She’s leery and she does nothing without blinkers and she was only doing enough there all the time. Eddie bought her at the breeze-ups, off Yeomanstown, as a broodmare and she’s won a race now. I’d imagine what we’ll do now is try and pick up some black-type now, she could sneak a bit. She loves fast ground and she actually keeps trying for you.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately 50 yards from the finish involving Calrissiana (GB), ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed first, and Sharayka, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared the two came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
