he’d a lovely first run over hurdles and has come forward nicely. He’s been doing it at home but when he had no company in front, he was still a bit green. When he had company he was much slicker in his jumping. He’s won on the Flat and he’s won over hurdles now and he’ll probably mix it between both as the season goes on.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend involving Chortal (GB), ridden by D.J Gilligan, placed fifth, J'envoievalserenki (FR), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed sixth, Sundance Sioux, ridden by B.W
Harvey, placed fourth, Money Dancer, ridden by D. Meyler, placed third, Pepper Noir, ridden by A. Harvey, unplaced, and Stiltellinemnuttin, ridden by J.C. Gainford, unplaced, where it appeared J'envoievalserenki hit the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. J. Gilligan stated that his mount was very keen as they were going very steady but felt he had kept his line around the bend. S. W. Flanagan stated that he ran out of room at the point of the bend. B. W. Harvey stated that his mount was very keen but felt he held his line. D. Meyler stated that his mount was keen and he had no where to go. A. Gainford stated that he did not move in or change his line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any rider, and therefore took no further action The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Last Kingdom (FR), trained by W.P
Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
