Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Sanditon (IRE) had jumped awkwardly from the stalls and as a result stumbled badly unseating Jack Callan after the start was effected and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following an objection from Callum Hutchinson the rider of Good Karma (GB) after interference approximately 3 ½ furlongs out when the winner, Vizzavona Lady (FR), ridden by George Wood, interfered with Good Karma (GB), placed second, ridden by Callum Hutchinson.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Vizzavona Lady (FR)'s placings as despite the gelding moving left handed at the end of the back straight and causing Good Karma (GB) to clip a heel and stumble, it was able to get balanced and back into a rhythm again over 3 furlongs out, before challenging wide around the field turning into the home straight to be held by Vizzavona Lady by a head at the line.
Wood was suspended for 3 days for careless riding in that he moved his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear causing Good Karma (GB) to clip a heel.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out involving Rockstar Icon (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle and Buttercross Flyer (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Taryn Langley.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear causing Langley to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Good Karma (GB), placed second, clipped a heel approximately three and a half furlongs out, Lewis Edmunds reported that he was denied a clear run in the straight on Bomb Squad (IRE), placed third and Dougie Costello reported that Just King High (IRE), unplaced, never travelled.
