Navan Thu, 31st Aug, 2023  Bid For Chester He fired a warning shot the other day and Chris (Hayes) came in and said he was a bit green when he went for him. When he came through them today the hill suited him. Hopefully now he'll go to the sales race, the Goffs Sportman's Challenge in Naas on September 14th. That was the plan all year.

Tramore Fri, 2nd Jun, 2023  Chef D'etat This is very, very special because the man that owns this horse (Pierre Manigault), also owns Cape Gentleman who was hurt in the Grand National and he came back out of the clinic only yesterday. Taylor's father trains horses for Pierre in America and I sold this horse to Pierre only a couple of months ago. I think he is a very good horse. Taylor is only 17 and she came over to us last November for three months. She went back to America then and had 11 rides and rode eight winners. I'd love to have her around here the whole time, she is a great girl. I have a bumper picked out for him in England on the 28th of this month and Taylor will ride him again.

Roscommon Mon, 22nd May, 2023  Whisky On The Hill Adam gave him a great ride. He did it very easy actually and probably got there too soon,. He's a nice horse and jumping will probably be the name of the game for him in time. He's going to go to the field in the morning, probably for ten days, and then we'll bring him back for the mile-and-a-half in Galway for three-year-olds. On softer ground you'll see a better horse again. I was very close to taking him out because I was a bit concerned about the ground this evening. He travelled very sweet today and he surprised me. I'm sure the jumps lads would like a horse like him and he could be sold now. He's had three quick runs and I was a bit concerned as he lost 15 kilo last week after Sligo and I was very worried. We had him back to a kilo below his weight today and we were delighted he'd put back on so much. He's tough.
