Permission was given for Yokkell (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Grey Cuban (GB) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute.

Power Of Destiny (GB) and Castle Cove (IRE) wore ear plugs which were removed at the start.

Shortly after the start, Yokkell (IRE), unplaced, lugged right-handed crowding LET’S DREAM, unplaced, which in turn slightly impeded DEBORA’S DREAM (IRE), which was later pulled up.

After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Approaching the winning post on the first circuit, the hard pulling Encourager (IRE), unplaced, clipped the heels of Bubbles Wonky (IRE), placed fifth, and stumbled.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong after the start involving, Magico (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Callum Rodriguez and Our Golden One (IRE), placed third, ridden by Hollie Doyle.

The interference was found to be accidental as Our Golden One (IRE) had briefly become short of room when awkwardly placed to the inside of Magico (IRE), which had edged slightly left-handed at the same time as both LET’S DREAM and Claymore (FR) improved through down Doyle’s inner.

An enquiry was held to consider further interference approximately half a furlong after the start involving, Bubbles Wonky (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Sean Kirrane; Encourager (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Doughty and Qitaal (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Joe Fanning.

The interference was found to be accidental as a free-running Encourager (IRE), shifted slightly left-handed when racing tightly to the inside of Bubbles Wonky (IRE) at the same time as Grey Cuban (GB), placed second, lugged right- handed off the inside rail, causing Fanning to take a check to avoid heels on Qitaal (GB), before then shifting right which resulted in Magico (IRE) and Our Golden One (IRE), which were following both being hampered.

Following the race, Warren Fentiman reported that Let's Dream (GB), unplaced, ran too free; Jack Doughty reported that Encourager (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and George Wood reported that he pulled Debora's Dream (IRE) up passing 7½ furlongs out, as he was unable to continue in the race after being hit in the face by a lost shoe, for which he subsequently required medical attention.
