Permission was given for Atomic Force (IRE), Regal Envoy (IRE), Wicket Keeper (IRE), and Miraculous (IRE) to all wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Fair Wind (GB) which was very slowly away and reluctant to race.
The representative of Owen Burrows was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had also been very slowly away and reluctant to race at Ascot on 06 September 2025, Burrows’ representative was informed that any future similar behaviour from Fair Wind (GB) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
The winner, Super Saiyan (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Doncaster on 14 September 2025 where the gelding finished last of thirteen runners, beaten by 12½ lengths.
The representative of Billy Aprahamian’s explanation that Super Saiyan (IRE) appreciated being ridden with more restraint off a strong pace on this occasion, whilst also benefiting from having received veterinary treatment for gastric ulcers was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Finley Marsh reported that Fair Wind (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and Hollie Doyle reported that Coul Angel (IRE), which started favourite and finished third, hung right-handed throughout.
