The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tarima, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Catalina Delcarpio, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, Spicy Margarita, ridden by D. Egan, placed fifth, and Tarima, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared there was bumping between the three horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. David Egan stated that he received pressure from both sides but didn't have to stop riding and the others had more horse than he did. Chris Hayes stated that they went no pace and his charge was only having her second start, she became unbalanced and received a bump from the inside. W.J. Lee stated that he followed Ecstatic (JPN) when they quickened off the hill when a gap appeared, his charge was raw and changed leads and became unbalanced and made contact with Spicy Margarita due to greenness. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were not entirely convinced by the evidence of W.J. Lee but gave him the benefit of the doubt on this occasion
