An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out involving the winner, South Dakota Sioux (IRE), ridden by Finley Marsh and Havana Sky (GB), placed third, ridden by Marco Ghiani.
The Stewards considered that no interference had taken place as although South Dakota Sioux (IRE) drifted marginally left-handed at the same time as Havana Sky (GB) attempted to improve to its inside, Ghiani reported that Havana Sky (GB) was racing awkwardly of its own accord and whilst the gap was tightening, the gelding neither had to be eased not lost its running.
