The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Speakasyoufind, ridden by D. Robinson, and trained by P.J. Rothwell. Evidence was heard from the rider and the trainers Authorised Representative, Mr. D. Nolan. D
Robinson stated that his instructions were to drop in and get his mount to come home well, he further added that his mount was outpaced throughout and jumped indifferent and was of the view that his mount would benefit from a step up in trip Mr. D. Nolan confirmed the instructions and added that he thought the horse ran a good race despite a few jumping errors. Mr. D Nolan also added that he had spoken to the trainer, P.J Rothwell by phone who expressed his satisfaction with the performance of both horse and rider. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who reported that the animal was post race normal. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations offered in relation to Rule 212. Howerver, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D. Robinson was in breach of Rule 213 in that he failed to report something which may have affected the running of his mount and having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday
