Permission was given for Another Abbot (IRE) to go early to post, for Cloud King (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Diomed Spirit (GB) to be mounted on the chute.
Another Abbot (IRE) wore earplugs throughout the race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving Solvency (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Sean Dylan Bowen, Another Abbot (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Cieren Fallon and Almaty Star (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jack Mitchell.
The interference was found to be accidental as Solvency (IRE) shifted marginally left-handed at the same time as Fallon committed for a tight but legitimate gap causing both Another Abbot (IRE) and Almaty Star (IRE) to become unbalanced.
Following the race, Sean Dylan Bowen reported that Solvency (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed.
