Permission was given for Roland Garros (GB) to wear a red hood to post.

An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference approximately 2 ½ furlongs out, involving the winner, Ribble River (IRE), ridden by Mr Henry Callan, Bloodhound (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Miss Megan Jordan, Pralognan (FR), unplaced, ridden by Mr Derek O’Connor, and Innse Gall (GB), unplaced, ridden by Mr Shay Halton.

Being a 7lb claiming amateur, Mr Callan was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.

In the first incident Miss Jordan was suspended for 2 days on dates to be notified to her by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for careless riding, as she allowed her mount to drift left- handed without sufficient correction, when insufficiently clear, causing Mr O’Connor to be crowded for room and having to take a check which resulted in Pralognan (FR) making contact with Innse Gall (GB).

In the second incident, Mr Callan was suspended for 2 days on dates to be notified to him by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for careless riding, as he angled his mount right-handed when insufficiently clear, making contact with Innse Gall (GB), and causing the gelding to become unbalanced when crowded for room.

The Clerk of the Scales reported that Mr Cian Murphy, the rider of Dibble Dabble (GB), unplaced, trained by James Ferguson, had weighed in at 11 stone 0lbs, having weighed out at 10 stone 12lbs.

The rider, the representative of James Ferguson and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed.

Mr Murphy was suspended for 1 day on a date to be notified to him by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for weighing in at 2lb overweight.
