The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mrs John Harrington, trainer, in relation to her non-runners today with the excuse being given as "going" when there was no change in the official going since declaration. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that some of her runners yesterday disappointed on the heavy going and she felt that today's going was going to be tacky and unsuitable for some of her charges. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation offered and allowed the withdrawals on this occasion.
