The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately a furlong after leaving the stalls involving Still She Blooms (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, Bucky Larson, ridden by P. McGettigan, unplaced, Golden Days, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, and Amemri (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Cleary stated that he got pressure from his outside and he had to take back. P. McGettigan stated that he received pressure from his outside

L.T. McAteer stated he didn't suffer any interference as he could see it about to happen. R. Whearty stated that his mount was keen and felt he did his best to keep straight. He further added that he was informed from its previous rider that the horse had a tendency to go left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R. Whearty was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Gimmieminnie trained by M.M. Rice was found to have blood at both nostrils post race

The Raceday Stewards fined M.M. Rice, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Gimmieminnie, prior to entering the parade ring

The Raceday Stewards interviewed the Authorised Representative for Mark Fahey, trainer of Ferrari Desert (GB), regarding the late arrival of his charge into the parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the Authorised Representative who stated that the horse can get very hot and apologised for her actions. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mark Fahey was in breach of Rule 32 and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion through his Representative.

An extended handicap for four years old and upwards rated 47-65
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
