he's a nice horse and he scoped dirty after he ran here the last day. We came back in trip today and he did everything right. He actually jumped slowly and relaxed for the first time in a race today. Keithen said he took two massive blows in the straight, so he’s going to improve no end as he was only just ready to start today. To be fair to Keithen, between himself and Sean Byrne, they ride him out every day and he is a pretty difficult ride at home, so he knows him very well. He'll have a little bit of bragging rights!. I'd say we will come back up here with him as he loves very fast ground. He's a horse that I think will keep on stepping up through the grades and he's a fun horse.

Very consistent. It took a long time for him to win the maiden, but we kept him lightly raced, kept him sweet, and I think that has been the key to him. He had a breathing operation last April, so it has just taken a bit of time to get the confidence back into the horse. He has been a revelation there this winter, holding his form really well. Delighted for John Kirkland and his wife Jeanette, and also Jim and Geraldine Ryan who have been great supporters of me so far, they have a couple of nice horses with me. I'm just delighted this horse is flying the flag for the winter months. We will look for something similar next. We might be out of the '80' bracket, but we will look for something hopefully in the '90' grade in a month's time and we will see what is there. She has won three here for us this winter, has been placed a few times and it is a great to get fillies like that - it keeps things ticking over. Adam said she might have a little bit in hand still. I've no real plans for her, she will keep plugging away and could come back here for finals' day or we could go across the water with her. It worked out very well, we couldn’t have thought it any better!. Ground is a big thing for him, he takes a few runs and the cheekpieces were back on - I’m delighted. He’s probably a little bit better than this grade, but it’s just the way it fell. Every time we ran, we were hoping the rain was coming, but it never came. James gave him a great ride. It’s my Dad’s (Paul) syndicate (Urban & Rural Boys Syndicate). He was sick last year and this horse boosted him up no end. They’ve had this syndicate since Molly’s Boy 20 years ago. It’s still going with a few new friends. The other horse was second. We were going to leave him to next week, but the lads are local. I thought he would have needed the run and expect him to improve. We’ve a few horses ready to go, we’ve been waiting for the rain. Hopefully, we can keep going because it’s been frustrating, we had a good few seconds earlier in the year. Hopefully, we can kick on a get a few winners from here to the end of the year.
