To start life off 59 in the wintertime at Dundalk has given her a lot of confidence to come into the turf season. These races aren’t easily won but she’s won like a helluva good filly there today. In Galway from stall 19 she showed that she’s more than capable off top-weight. She ran a cracker. The last day the Cambridgeshire just didn’t work out. There was no pace in the race and Wayne wasn’t hard on her, so she was nice and fresh for today. She’s Saudi owned by a couple of new owners into the yard and hopefully they will be re-investing with us. I’m super proud for them and the support they’ve given me. They sent me this filly before I even had a runner so hats off to them. They picked her out themselves in Goffs, five-and-a-half grand. She must be one of the most progressive h

We're delighted with both fillies and James got a great feel from Mallavelly today. They went a good strong gallop, she loves that top of the ground and loves that distance. That was great. It was a bit of a tactical race. They didn’t go over fast and she was a bit keen with him. He (Lordan) said he wasn’t too sure if she was comfortable being pinned on the rail - she’s a very small filly, but she’s as tough as anything. He said he was always comfortable, although he looked under pressure. He felt they weren’t getting away on him and that he’d be able to get one run. She just does what she has to do when she hits the front, so it was ideal the way it panned out for her. She’s a great filly. I put her in the Scurry in the off chance it would come up good, but they probably need rain there. This track does the best job of watering of any track in the country. The ground is a credit to them.

She had a nice break and, in fairness to her owners John and Janine, they have been patient with her because it just took us a while to get back to where we wanted her.
