An enquiry was held to consider interference passing the 2 furlong marker, involving Galen (GB), placed second, ridden by Dylan Browne McMonagle, Ecureuil Secret (FR), unplaced, ridden by Oisin Orr, Enfjaar (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jim Crowley and Haunted Dream (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mickael Barzalona.
Browne McMonagle was suspended for 3 days for careless riding, as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, causing the rider of Ecureuil Secret (FR) to take a check, which resulted in Enfjaar (IRE) being tight for room and as a result Haunted Dream (IRE) being short for room on the rail and its rider taking a check.
