Cheltenham Fri, 13th Mar, 2026  Dinoblue It was a competitive race and I think she got an excellent ride from Mark and what more can I say, I’m just very happy. One thing Mark said when he got off her was that her jumping today was magical. The last ditch she jumped so well and took her into the race and she was just competitive then. Mark didn’t want to go that far out but what could he do. She’s very uncomplicated, a lovely mare and she’s a good match with Mark. That looked her best performance without going through the form book. We’d been worried about the trip before but there didn’t seem to be any problem with anything this year – ground, trip but especially her jumping, that was extraordinary. If you had a horse jump like that every day of the week, it would make this game easy. I don’t know when she might go off to stud, the main difference between the Irish and French is that in France they’d go off to stud with her, but we treat these mares as racehorses and if they are good we tend to keep them. I’ll leave that up to the owner. There’s nice mares’ races for her left this season, so I’d imagine she’d stick to them.

Gowran Park Sat, 7th Mar, 2026  Dromard He's a lovely big horse and we just couldn't get him ready in time for Cheltenham. When we saw the Doc's bumper, we put him aside for that. He looks a real nice prospect,. I was worried as Josh Halley's horse was running a cracker, but this fellow is by Doctor Dino and he's a horse I like. They don't normally win on this heavy ground but this fellow is a big, old-fashioned chaser type and he relished it. . If the ground doesn't get too dry in the spring, we would keep him for Fairyhouse or Punchestown.

Punchestown Wed, 18th Feb, 2026  Straight John It probably wasn’t the strongest race in the world and I’d say he probably wants two-and-a-half miles. I’d say a rated hurdle somewhere would suit him well, he ran a nice race. He’s very straightforward. I’d say he wants further and Jack said the track was pretty tight for him.

Leopardstown Mon, 2nd Feb, 2026  Narciso Has It was a very good performance, he did it the hard way from the front. He settles lovely in front, jumps well in front, and has enough for a kick at the end. He’s mature as well and, looking at him, I think he’s going to make into a nice chaser. He’s a fine, big, specimen of a horse. I liked him from the first day that he came in. He was very green the first day that he ran, but he’s learning all the time. He has his two ears pricked going down the back the whole way. He seemed well within himself and well able to handle himself.

He’s out of a Cyborg mare and that’s all stamina. I think we bought two off Walter (Connors) that year, Kopek Des Bordes and this fella so it’s a 100 per cent record in Grade One's which is fantastic. It was probably going to the last the first time before he relaxed. There was a horse up his backside everywhere he went and he was very free, but he kept galloping - the fact that he could pull like that and still be galloping at the end of two-miles-six on very tough ground. We thought he was a summer horse first so he goes on all sorts of ground, but he seems to be better when he has tougher conditions.

We thought he’d improve from there and were kind of hoping he’d put up that performance today. I think there is plenty of improvement to come as well. He’s a horse that stays well. We like him, he’s a fair horse. We were confident he would keep going. Danny wanted to be positive and it worked out great.

Navan Sat, 6th Dec, 2025  Doctor Steinberg I’d say the usual story, just a very good horse. He jumped well, went and galloped, and was very tough. Even going to the second-last, I was conscious of getting lower in the saddle and have him rolling up the hill. He put it to bed nicely from the back of the last.
