She's My Dream I used to think she preferred running around a bend but there was nothing wrong with her there. She ran as straight as a die and it’s great that she has won two races. She’s very consistent. We were getting frustrated at Dundalk over the winter and we thought she was never going to win but she’s just that bit better on the turf. Sean was in RACE last year. He had only one year to go in school so he went back and did his leaving cert recently. He rides well and could ride anything. He has great hands, he’s tall but his weight is not too bad. He did a good job there with hands and heels, and I think he only gave her one flick. He didn’t panic and for only his third ride he did very well.

Sunset Nova He's been knocking on the door and he's been ultra consistent lately. It was great to get his head in front and it was the lads' (Men Of Forty Eight Syndicate) first winner this year. We'll go to Galway now on the Monday night for the seven-furlong three-year-old handicap. Donie O'Connell and Pat Leahy are the two main men in the syndicate. Donie has a Tipperary function there, so he was always going there anyway. It was nearly six furlongs today and that will be seven up the hill. It might be a little bit of a worry but he's going anyway as the lads have a party on.

She's My Dream She’s been trying hard for a good while and hasn’t got her head in front. Perhaps she liked the little comfort in the ground as she’s been at Dundalk several times. She got out in front there and seemed to enjoy it. She quickened up and ran to the line well so we’re delighted with her. It’s great to win a race for Mr (Tom) Monaghan. It’s the first foal out of the mare and he’s got a nice Kodiac colt foal going to the sales later this year. We tried a mile as an experiment the last day but it didn’t work.

Blairmayne Killian gave him a brilliant ride. He was a bit unlucky last time at Naas as he got no run,. We were hoping for a very good run today and we were pretty confident. He loves it here and he loved the ground today, it was good safe ground. The biggest aim for us would be to win a premier handicap here and we'll look at the Scurry and Bold Lad again for him. He was placed in both last year. He has proven he's competitive at that level so we'll keep trying. He always runs his best and always gives you a nice day out. He's just amazing and it's great to have him. It's amazing to win on a classic day and I have no words to describe the feeling. It's one of the biggest days and for a small yard like ours it makes all the hard work worth it. It's really brilliant. We're based in a little yard just outside Banbridge and have nine horses at the moment. We have few young horses that we're looking forward to running as they are shaping well.

Mary Salome That was good and I'm delighted with her as we were very disappointed with her the last day. She was in good order but, I don't know, maybe with the time of the year she wasn't herself on the day. We drew a line through it and were delighted to get in (as a reserve) this morning and she is versatile ground-wise. She is a good-looking filly and please God we have another day out like this. We got the call early this morning, half an hour before the departure time so it was good timing!
