Rebel Waltz The light weight was a big help to him because he is a narrow horse and it was a great ride from Danny. Everyone thinks he wants three miles but I think a real strong 2m4f is what he wants. I didn't think he'd handle the ground being so heavy but Danny said it was no bother. We'll look for something similar next.

Sneaky Getaway He’s been a great servant for the yard and that’s his sixth win. We’re delighted and it’s good to get him back going again,. He got injured after his maiden hurdle win in Roscommon, and hopefully he can go up a bit in grade now. A lot of people were worried about his jumping because he was a seven-year-old who went on the Flat but we just hadn’t schooled him. It’s never been an issue and he’s always been a good jumper.

She's Commanche It took a long time for us to get her settled, she was always very free and wound up,. It took us over a year for us to get her to relax and settle at home. We did an awful lot of slow work with her. Sean said she'd want that ground or softer. We had her in at Gowran last week but took her out as we thought the ground was too quick for her. Hopefully we can pick up another one with her, fingers crossed.

Tiantu He is finally improving and it's great to see him put two good runs together like that,. Hopefully he'll pick up another one. I wasn't sure if I'd got up but I thought I might get it if I didn't get up if you know what I mean (after an enquiry). I just got a little bit squeezed but in fairness he saw it out well. I was happy that my fella was going to stay going as he has won around here over two mile five and won the last time over two and a half. He stayed going up the hill and I could just see Darragh was starting to tie up going down to the last. It's a tell-tale sign when they start looking over their shoulder they are not going that well! . Darragh's fella just jumped left at the last and my fella was leaning towards the rail so I said we'd keeping going that way. We won't aim too high with him now.

Getaway Queen I thought she had won coming into the parade ring but then I met Conor and he thought we were chinned on the line. The ground is a little bit too slow for her, she just barely gets home on that ground. She loves quick ground, sure she loves Dundalk. It took me ages to get her fit, it took three runs. She had a bad draw the last day but what can you do, you have to run because you don't know when they'll get in again or if they'll be sick. So I ran her and she was a bit too far back but flew home. I knew she was fairly right after that run. She'll probably go for one of these again now or maybe a handicap hurdle, we'll see. I haven't really ran her much over hurdles yet because I knew there was another flat race in her. She is ground dependent and wouldn't go on anything slower than that.

Gone Racing His first run in a handicap was a good run and if he repeated that I felt it would be good enough to win this because it was a lesser race. He'll probably run in Sligo now next month.

Some Spin We were very disappointed after Tipperary but maybe that was a lack of him running in schooling races and he had a bit of stage-fright. We thought he'd win a 5yo maiden point-to-point so we were very disappointed after Tipperary. I did plenty of schooling with him since and we decided to give him a spin over hurdles. He jumped and travelled everywhere and was the best horse in the race. He is for sale, is a lovely horse and goes on any ground. He has schooled over fences and was ready to run in point-to-point's before they stopped and that's why he ended up here.
