Dinons had an entry in the Munster National but the 137-rated performer comes here for what looks an altogether easier task. The son of Balko was noted finishing off his race well when beaten three parts of a length and four and three parts of a length by Wicklow Brave and Jan Maat at the Harvest Festival in Listowel on September 8th. The two mile one furlong trip was an inadequate test then and this near two and a half miler should be much more to his liking. Looking at the six-year-old’s form the ground is a bit of a worry but it shouldn’t be given the way he’s bred.
