A Brace of Quick Doubles
Everyone is aware at this stage of the Cleary family's poignant association with Ballybrit and their teak tough mare Miranda's Girl followed up Monday night's win in the Guinness And Oysters European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap.
The daughter of Titus Livius carried Rory to a three parts of a length victory over Fictional Account prompting his Dad, Tom to say, "My son Paul rode her out this morning and he said she was in better form than on Monday. She is very tough and we were fairly confident. She is due a little break now and we'll discuss plans then."
Amazingly in the very next race, the Arthur Guinness Handicap, Maundy Money who had scored here on Tuesday evening, doubled up by half a length for Colm O'Donoghue and David Marnane.
