The decision to turn Chance To Dance out again quickly reaped dividends as he opened his account in the Fethard Maiden at Clonmel.

The Jim Bolger-trained gelding had run well to finish second at the Curragh on Monday and confirmed that showing with a comprehensive success.

Kevin Manning held his mount up behind the leaders before switching on to the rail and taking closer order two furlongs out.

He claimed Ebadani with over a furlong to run and went on to record a three-length success.

The winner had traded at 8/11 this morning but was a solid 5/4 favourite on course.

“Kevin said he's very versatile and he's a tough horse,” said Ger Flynn, Bolger's travelling head lad.

“He's run over six furlongs and a mile-and-a-quarter and Kevin said he thinks he'll get a mile-and-a-half. He's also handled every type of ground.”
