The Kieran Purcell trained Paddy Pub (10/1) followed up a recent course and distance hurdle win with another win at the venue today, in the Woodlands Park 100 Club Leinster National Handicap Chase.
Jockey Pat Mangan moved Paddy Pub to the front six out and the pair stayed on well in the straight to eventually defeat Arabella Boy by a length and a quarter.
Afterwards Purcell said “Paddy Pub is coming back to himself - it took him a while to get back but he is enjoying his racing again. I don't know where we'll go now but hopefully he'll be sound in the morning.”
