Easy Reach lands touch in the last
Easy Reach clears the last at Roscommon

Easy Reach enjoyed his trip to Roscommon from Gillian Callaghan’s stable in Trim Co Meath as he opened his account in the extended two and a half mile maiden hurdle.
In two runs in two mile maiden hurdles he had finished mid-division, but as Callaghan said: “the step up in trip and the tongue tie made the difference. He’s very well bred being a half brother to Sure Reef”.
There was money for the winner from 12/1 in the morning, 5/1 on opening show down to an SP of 4/1.
He was always prominent, led going into the home straight and was never going to be caught by Jolly Mac Vic (12/1) who was beaten by a length and three parts. Pigeon Creek was 15 lengths off the runner-up in third at 33/1 while Summer Star the 11/8 favourite, never got into the race in fifth place.
