Elliott keen on Story in Martin Pipe

Gordon Elliott is keen to know the handicapper's assessment of The Storyteller ahead of a tilt at the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The weights are revealed on Wednesday and the County Meath handler is likely to have more than one runner in a race he would dearly would love to win.

He was once attached to the Pipe stable and rode as an amateur for the retired multiple champion jumps trainer.

"We'll see what the handicapper does, butt I'm really looking forward to running The Storyteller in the Martin Pipe," said Elliott.

"He's a horse I have in my head will run there, but we'll just have to see what the handicapper does.

"I've several entries for the Martin Pipe, Jeannot De Nonant and Carrig Cathal are possibles for the race as well. It's a race I'd love to win."
