Yvonne Latta's Everylittlestep is in a rich seam of form and brought up her hat-trick in good style in the first division of the BOYLESPORTS Supporting Irish Racing Handicap.

Colin Keane soon overcame a wide draw in stall 14 by slotting in in mid-division over this extended nine furlongs.

The 11/5 favourite made eye-catching progress inside the '2' pole and was tanking for Keane. He pushed her along to hit the front just outside the furlong marker and the duo went on their merry way in the final 150 yards.

She took the honours by a healthy two and a-quarter lengths from Plunkett Street (80/1) who was another big-priced runner-up on the card for jockey Nathan Crosse. Rockbury Lad came in third at 15/2, beaten three lengths by the winner.

Andrew Latta, trainer’s son and assistant, said: “She took a long time to get it together. She had a little problem with her wind last year and it’s just taken her a bit of time to get her confidence and she’s got it now.

“She seemed to do it nicely and we might aim a bit higher for some prize money and get in off low weights in a couple of bigger handicaps.

“There is a couple of fillies' only handicaps coming up and she might just sneak into the bottom of the handicap in those.

“We’ll see what the handicapper does and, if he’s very hard on her, he might give me no option but to turn her back in the Curragh on Sunday and, if he’s sensible, we’ll wait.

“She likes a gap between her races, but if he gives me no choice we might just try it and see what happens.”

Everylittlestep began her winning run under Keane when rated 49 in a Leopardstown handicap in June and the duo followed up off 57 at Killarney last month. They prevailed off a rating of 63 today.
