The Johnny Levins runners generated some chat pre-meeting when shortening in the early markets for their respective heats at Dundalk. Runner number one for the stable Palavicini Run went off at 6/4 favourite, though considerably bigger on the betting exchanges, and she had to settle for third place behind the convincing winner, Free Running in the www.dundalkstadium.com Fillies Claiming Race.
Gary Halpin rode Free Running for John Feane, and on her third outing for the stable the daughter of Iffraaj raced to a three and three parts of a length win over Intense Stylist
"She ran a blinder here the last day and was dropping back in class tonight," said Feane.
"I thought it was a good opportunity for her and thought she was my best chance of a winner tonight.
"She's done well for us, winning twice and finishing fourth, and she'll go to the sales at Goffs."
In at a claiming price of 10,000 Euros Intense Stylist was picked up by Albert Moriarty.
