Flood and O'Mara team up at Galway
The Corrib Village Beginners Chase was won by Paddy Flood aboard Thomand O'Mara's Banna Man for owner J P O'Shea.
Flood's mount travelled and jumped well throughout and managed to hold off Slippers Madden's Loup Du Saubouas by 2 1/2 lengths, the pair pulled 10 lengths clear of the third.
The trainer commented afterwards, 'This horse has huge class, he is a bit of a character but jumps great. We'll keep him over fences maybe go for a Novice next with him.'
