Sat 12th Sep 2009, 15:02

Chinese White racked up a hat-trick when running out a convincing winner of the Group 2 Irish National Stud Blandford Stakes at the Curragh.

Dermot Weld 's charge was produced to lead a furlong-and-a-half from home by Pat Smullen

The Dalakhani filly kept on well in the closing stages to post a two-length success over long-time leader Roman Empress

"She's a very very good filly as we've seen continually. She has been running consistently and well," said Weld.

"We'll possibly go for the Prix de l'Opera next and probably then look at the Fillies & Mares at the Breeders Cup.

"It's the logical progress to go for a Group 1. She's a very very consistent filly and a lovely filly to train."
