Givemeabuzz does O'Neill a favour
Gerry O'Neill had a welcome winner (this victor won a point for him back in April) when Givemeabuzz came home best to land the Curran South East Cleaners Handicap Hurdle under Paddy Mangan.
Mangan, following up his success on Goban Saor yesterday, got to the front about a hundred yards out on Givemeabuzz after Merry Cowboy (formerly a graded chase winner) wasn't clever at the last.
O'Neill said: "We fancied her. I thought that with a circuit to go we were in trouble but she stayed on well. She needs three miles and she'll go over that distance next time. She needs a flat track too. She's owned by a couple of local lads to me (the Murnanes)."
