The Eddie Lynam trained Giorni Felice improved one placing on a promising debut run at the Galway festival recently, when winning the Abbey Hotel Roscommon Maiden under jockey Robbie Downey at Roscommon today.
The son of Born To Sea, who failed just a head on debut at Galway, today battled well for his length and a quarter win over Newcross
Afterwards Downey stated “he was a bit unfortunate at Galway where it just took time for the penny to drop. He’s still very green, and will improve on that again.”
