Horendous Hulabaloo got his chasing career off to a successful start when justifying strong support in the Kedrah House Stud 'Well Chosen' Beginners Chase at Tipperary.
The Beneficial gelding, who won a point-to-point at Kirkistown over two years ago and also has a Limerick maiden hurdle success on his CV, was all the rage.
Quotes of 7/4 in the morning soon disappeared and he was further supported on track from 5/4 into 11/10 favourite.
Bryan Cooper's mount headed the front-running Clondaw Dude approaching the straight and, while not finding too much in front, kept on well enough to beat Seamus or by three lengths. Jansboy was a further six lengths back in third, with Ancient Sands weakening after a blunder at the last.
Winning trainer Mouse Morris said, "He goes on any ground and probably needs further. He is one of a few I have for the summer who want better ground."
