Leger next for Wells after Ballyroan repeat
The Irish St Leger is next on the agenda for Mores Wells after he followed up last year's success in the Ballyroan Stakes.
Declan McDonogh sent his mount to the front under two furlongs out in the Group 3 event and he galloped on strongly for a three-and-a-half length win.
"He was entitled to win that. He ran a good race in the Irish St Leger last year and he's going to run in the Leger next," said trainer Kevin Prendergast.
"He handles that ground but he's better on good ground. He's in the Melbourne Cup as well but we'll see how he gets on in the next one first."
