The opening race on this evenings card, The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden was won by 5/4 favourite Knight Eagle from the Kevin Prendergast stable.

Declan McDonogh was always prominent on the Night Shift gelding, led over 1f out and kept on well to hold off the late efforts of Kimberly Bay and Shane Gorey by 1 1/2 lengths.
