Moore and Russell on the mark
Port La Chaine provided Davy Russell with a welcome winner after being unwell over the Christmas period.
The well-backed winner, 7/4 to 11/8, ran out a 5 lengths winner of the WLR FM Maiden Hurdle at Tramore.
Winning trainer Arthur Moore was absent but his son JD Moore, who recorded his first winner as a trainer just 24 hours previously at the same venue, briefly mentioned "Port La Chaine had been second five times and it's great to win with him."
