Noble Prince scores for Nolan

Tue 19th May 2009, 19:11

The Paul Nolan trained Noble Prince ran out a 3 length win of The Punchestown For Exhibitions Hurdle under champion conditional rider Alain 'Squeaky' Cawley in the colours of Des Sharkey.

Winning trainer Nolan said afterwards, "He was very good, when we first got him we were blaming the heavy ground for his runs but we probably should have given a bit longer off when he came from France. He's a nice progressive sort and I think he's a better horse on better ground and the better pace would suit him more. We just have to make up our minds now as to what to do so I will speak to the owner and decide. He's a very nice horse."
