Orpailleur Gains Another Success for Morgan
Joanna Morgan has her team in top form at present and she saddled her third winner in a week when that good old campaigner, Orpailleur joined Moran Gra and La Petite Bleue as winners for the yard in the past seven days by making all to land a bit of a gamble (14s into 10s) under Pat Smullen in the Kilternan Handicap.
The eight-year-old grey, twice previously a winner at the track, stuck on in determined fashion to hold off Lime Tree Valley by a neck.
Morgan said: "Basically a mile or a mile and a furlong is his trip and he likes that ground. It is great that he has won again and he likes being out in front."
