Rome conquers all
The David Wachman trained Imperial Rome has a date with the French 2,000 following his win in the Listed Dylan Thomas EBF Tetrarch Stakes at The Curragh today.
The son of Holy Roman Emperor moved to the front under a furlong out before eventually staying on well for an all out win over the fast finishing Zabarajad
Afterwards Wachman stated “Imperial Rome quickened well and should step forward from that. He’ll go for the French Guineas next.”
Runner-up Zabarajad's trainer later expressed his satisfaction with his colt's run, saying "he will take his chance in the Irish 2,000 Guineas next but has to have fast ground."
