There was a one-two for Ballydoyle in race six at Leopardstown, the Kingdom Of Bahrain Vinnie Roe Stakes, as South Sea Pearl (11/8 fav) came home three lengths to the good under Ryan Moore.

Her stablemate Simply Beautiful (3/1) took second with Masaff (6/1) back in third.

The winner had been unlucky in running in a similar contest here two week ago.

Winning trainer Aidan O’Brien said afterwards : “She's a grand filly, she stays very well and we're delighted with her.

“She could be a Park Hill filly or something like that. She stays well and she's progressive.

“You never know where she could slot in that filly, she just stays very well.”
