Thywillbedone made every yard in testing conditions at Punchestown and gamely found plenty when pressed after the last in the three-year-old-hurdle.

Danny Mullins popped her away well from flagfall in the first-time hood. She jumped nicely throughout this two mile contest but looked to be in trouble when Newberry New put in a good jump at the last to land on terms.

However, Thywillbedone dug deep for Mullins and edged ahead of her rival on the run-in to eke out a half length advantage that she maintained to the line.

The winner was returned at 14/1 while Newberry New, for Jessica Harrington and Robbie Power, was sent off the 5/2 favourite from 4/1.

There was a four length gap back to Bold Bid in third. He was hammered down from an opening show of 9/1 to an SP of 7/2.

"I only have the one and I bred her so it's great. I've trained thousands of (greyhound) winners but I'm shaking like a leaf after that - it's unreal the buzz," trainer Paul Hennessy said.

"What Danny Mullins has done with her for the last three months is unreal. It's like that Salt 'N' Pepa song 'Whatta Man'!

"He's been very patient with her. He comes in to ride her three mornings a week before he goes to Willies'.

"I said I'd try and get a race before Willie comes out with all his. I don't care what happens for the rest of the year now.

"She's only rated 44 for Dundalk so that's an option and Danny thinks she'll improve again." Clonard Street who was placed in Group Two company as a juvenile on the flat, was the big drifter in the market on his hurdling debut. He walked out to 5/1 from 13/8. He raced in rear and never landed a blow in coming home a well-beaten eighth.

This was Thywillbedone's fourth effort over hurdles. On her last appearance she came in third in a maiden at Thurles.
