White And Red strikes again at Sligo

Wed 5th Aug 2009, 19:03

White And Red a course and distance winner last year, took the Foley's Bar & Off Licence Handicap in fine style at Sligo.

Padraig Beggy sent his mount on over a furlong out and she powered clear for a five-and-a-half length success.

"She deserved that," said winning trainer Caroline Hutchinson.

"She was probably a bit short at Leopardstown last time as she need six stitches after her previous run at the Curragh. Hopefully she'll go on from here."
