< Tithonus (11-2) took his game to a new level by landing the Bar One Racing Handicap at Dundalk.

The five-year-old has been a model of consistency for Denis Hogan this summer but was tackling the minimum trip for the first time, having made the frame over hurdles less than a year ago.

Speed is his forte, though, and he quickened to lead halfway down the straight before fending off Ostatnia who pipped Sahreej for second, by half a length.< Fit For Function (10-1) was tackling an artificial surface for the first time in the Total Produce Rated Race, but it brought out the best in him.

Joe Murphy's gelding made his move with a little less than a furlong to travel and stayed on well for a length-and-a-half call over Indrahar < Ambassadorial made a sparkling start to his career in the Horseware Maiden.

The Godolphin-owned youngster was settled towards the rear but made eyecatching headway to hit the front just inside the final furlong and he stretched two and a half lengths clear of Thomas O'Malley < My Good Brother ended a drought of almost two years in the Cara Cancer Support Centre Fundraiser Handicap.

The 4-1 favourite was forced to race wide but took the lead with two furlongs to travel and had enough in the tank to hold stable companion Kiss The Stars by a head.< Cenotaph (evens favourite) hasn't stood much racing but showed what he is capable of when right by cruising to a facile victory in the DLK Quality Fuels Apprentice Maiden for Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien.< War Room (3-1 joint-favourite) and Six Silver Lane (12-1) won divisions one and two of the Ecological Waste Management Ltd Handicap respectively, the former giving Shane Foley a double following the earlier victory of Ambassadorial, while Grey Sky Blue took the concluding two-mile Bar One Racing Handicap.
