Dont Go Yet I couldn't see Philip Fenton's horse (One Big Boum) being beaten and I thought Philip Rothwell's horse (Give Him A Chance) had a good chance too. This lad has been on the go along time and I brought him here and thought it might be the last time he'll ever run over a hurdle. He's 12 and it's coming towards the end of the season and I'm not going to run him on very fast ground. I thought he might enjoy today, with a bit of an ease in the ground. The veterans race is on here in about a months time and he could come back for that. He is nearly better over fences than he is over hurdles. We'll see how things are at the time. Sarah is in with us three days a week. She is very obliging and if we are stuck, she'll come in. Thank God we've got a winner for her anyway. |
