He looked after her. She needs nice ground and she put up a nice performance there. From a long way out I thought she was travelling and jumping very well, she was really enjoying it. It was an ordinary race she won in Clonmel and we were a bit disappointed in Naas but in fairness Phillip said ‘don’t worry about it’ as she needs a bit of nice ground. I have to give him the credit. I might go to Fairyhouse with her, there is a three-mile novice handicap there and she might get into that now. She hasn’t ran that often. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Puma's Dream, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a right fore shoe but to be otherwise post race normal
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Daniel G. Murphy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Mystic Malina, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at Naas on the 25th of January. Daniel G
Murphy reported that the better ground today may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given
Josh Williamson, rider of Puma's Dream, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled a right fore shoe.
