that was great - Clonbury Bridge is a great little horse and the lads (CJ & T Syndicate) have had some fun with him. He’s a right little horse. He had a lovely run in Navan (in November) and where he really ran well over two miles and Gavin Cromwell’s horse that won it, Midnight It Is, ran well in the Dan Moore here the other day. He is what he is and there is no big plan or anything, but sure we’ll find something next.

He was a nice little horse and he got a hard fall in his first beginners' (chase) at Fairyhouse. He lost his way a bit. We got his wind and that done and he seems to have come back. He was a nice hurdle horse, so I'm delighted and we will probably mix it with hurdling too. He's probably a horse where the bigger fences might not suit him. He's not over big. We'll see what's around and what he gets, but we'll definitely look at the hurdles as well.

It's great and the owners are all friends of mine,. They are from Carbury and Johnstown. They are neighbouring parishes and have a great rivalry at football. They are wild men now!

After race at Limerick Thu, 27th May, 2021 (1st)
He had to battle and it was touch and go for a while but he kept at it. He got underneath the last a bit but was probably always doing enough. He had a few nice runs, has been consistent enough without winning and the bit of nicer ground helped. He was a bit disappointing running on the inside track here the last day but didn't finish out and maybe didn't stay. It mightn't have been that strong a race and the runner-up had never won off 90 but he won anyway.
