The step up in trip seemed to suit him. Both his brother (The Butcher Said, won six times for Olly Murphy) and full sister want a trip. It was actually Bubba that rang me one day about him. I rang Peter and Eugene and within minutes they bought him, so it's great that he has won for them. Obviously long-term the plan will be Galway.

It was a nice performance. It’s been a frustrating time lately and it’s nice to get that winner on the board. He could be a nice enough horse and there should be plenty of fun with him next season going over hurdles. I don’t think he’s a horse for the middle of the winter, so we’ll see how long the ground lasts. He has a good attitude and it’s great that he found and galloped the whole way to the line.
