After race at Listowel Mon, 1st Jun, 2026 (1st)  Vincent O'Connor and his wife Mary are from nearby in Abbeyfeale, so that's why this winner is so popular. Plenty of people seem to have backed him too. He had been running in the heavy ground and we just changed things up today, and jumped out in front. He locked-on for Phillip (Enright) and no better man up on his back. We'll enjoy today and he might get the grass now, as the ground will be getting hard now. Brendan Maurice Walsh

After race at Limerick Sun, 29th Dec, 2024 (1st)  Vincent (O'Connor, from Abbeyfeale) bred him himself and he is a grand old horse. The horse that finished third behind him at Clonmel the last day won yesterday (Beggars Rock in Limerick), so the form is working out well. He is a good, consistent horse, but we were worried that the ground had become tacky although he got through it as he is tough. It's grand to get a Christmas winner. Brendan Maurice Walsh
